Eating Out

PortSide Bistro & Bar, Cobden Street Westport
Housed in the old art deco Waterside Workers Union Hall. Come and try their wide range of delicious seafood, beef, venison, lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes, and of course their signature Fish and Chips – their fish are fresh from the waters just two blocks away! Matt and Emma welcome you every day bar Monday.

The Bay House Cafe, Tauranga Bay
Re-opened with new owners in February 2012. A fabulous spot to watch the surfers at the Bay or the waves crashing on a rough winter's day.
A great place for a weekend brunch and excellent food!

Jack's Gasthof Pizzeria & Bar, Little Totara River
Our special recommendation for somewhere really different, inexpensive and just 2 minutes drive from the house, make sure you visit Jack & Petra at their tiny rural eatery and experience a truly unique cafe and bar. No website link available to Jack's but you can book on 789 6501. They tend to close over the winter months so it pays to call ahead to make sure they are open..
